Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are looking for an experienced Prototyper / Pre Production Build person to work for an established POS/POP manufacturer based in Leicester

This position is a straight permanent position

The Job:

• Working Monday to Friday 8am-5pm with a 4pm finish on a Friday
• Salary is negotiable between £30,000-35,000 depending on your experience
• You will be expected to create first builds of new projects for it to be tested before going out to production
• They specialise in acrylic fabrication, vacuum forming, screen and digital printing
• You will be require to use circular saws, CNC's, V Groovers and Lasers
• Be required to use AutoCAD drawings
• 28 days holiday per year plus Christmas shut-down and a day off on your birthday

About You:

• Previous experience with acrylic fabrication and a good understanding of production build techniques
• Ideally be an experienced prototyper or at the very least, an experienced fabricator
• Have experience in operating circular saws, CNC's and Lasers
• Have an understanding and use of AutoCAD drawings
• Good attention to detail
• Good time management
• Able to demonstrate a problem solving mentality
• Strong communication skills
• Carry out other duties as required
