Job Title: Assistant Site Manager

Location: East Midlands, Lincolnshire, Grantham

Job Type: Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hours Monday to Friday

Primary Industry: Construction, New Build Housing 

Salary: £40,000 - £49,000 Per annum

Company Branding: A National Award-Winning Housing Developer are looking for an experienced Assistant Site Manager for a brand new development in the Lincolnshire area. Offering the opportunity to work with a Pride in the Job winning team and Site Manager. Offering progression opportunities to Site Manager within 18 months due to an exciting pipeline of new sites.

Job Duties:

• Assist the Site Manager in overseeing the construction site, ensuring work is carried out safely, on time, and within budget
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and construction workers
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Manage site logistics and resolve any issues that may arise
• Monitor progress and quality of work, reporting back to the Site Manager
• Assist in maintaining accurate site records and documentation

Required Qualifications:

• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
• CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
• First Aid Certification
• Valid Driving Licence

Experience:

• Previous experience working as an Assistant Site Manager on new build housing projects (preferably PLC housing experience)
• Demonstrated experience in managing construction sites and teams

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong understanding of traditional new build housing construction methods
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
• Good problem-solving skills
• NHBC and technical understanding

Working Conditions:

• On-site at construction locations in the East Midlands, Lincolnshire / Nottingham area
• Full-time hours Monday to Friday
