Job Title: Assistant Site Manager

Location:

East of England, Hertfordshire, Stevenage

Job Type:

Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hours Monday to Friday

Primary Industry:

Construction, House Building, New Build Housing

Salary:

£35000 - £48000 Per annum

Qualifications:

SSSTS, CSCS, First Aid, Full UK Driving Licence

 

Join a growing housing developer with an exciting new project in Stevenage, building traditional new houses. You will be part of a friendly and supportive team, receiving necessary tools and training to progress to Site Manager within 12-18 months.

Job Duties:

  • Assist the Site Manager in overseeing construction activities on site
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Monitor progress and quality of work
  • Assist in resolving any issues or delays
  • Support in managing project budgets and timelines

Required Qualifications:

  • SSSTS certification
  • CSCS card
  • First Aid certification
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Education:

Relevant construction or building management qualification

Experience:

Previous experience in traditional house building as an Assistant Site Manager.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of construction processes
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
