Location: West Midlands, Worcestershire, Worcester
Job Type: Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hours Monday to Friday

Salary: £40000 - £55000 Per annum

Job Description
As an Assistant Site Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Site Manager in overseeing all aspects of the construction site. Your role will involve coordinating and managing subcontractors, ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to, and monitoring progress against project time-lines.
Job Duties:
- Assist the Site Manager in day-to-day operations
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Monitor project progress and report to the Site Manager
- Manage site paperwork and documentation
- Assist in resolving any on-site issues
- Conduct regular site inspections
Required Qualifications:
- SMSTS certification
- CSCS card
- First Aid certification
- NVQ Level 4 in Construction Management or equivalent
- Full UK Driving License
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of construction processes and techniques
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) qualification
- Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card
- First Aid at Work certification
- NVQ Level 4 or higher in Construction Management
Working Conditions:
You will be based on the construction site in Worcester, working regular full-time hours.
