A bespoke developer is looking for an Assistant Site Manager for a brand new development in Derby. This site consists of heritage traditional build houses to a high spec. Offering progression and a development plan from day one.
Job Duties:
- Assist the Site Manager in overseeing all aspects of the construction site
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations
- Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers
- Monitor progress and quality of work
- Manage site personnel and resolve any issues that arise
- Prepare and maintain accurate site reports
- Assist in project planning and scheduling
Required Qualifications:
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
- CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
- First Aid certification
- Driving Licence
Experience:
Previous experience as an assistant on new build housing projects.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of construction processes and regulations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficient in MS Office and project management software
Working Conditions:
Work on-site in various weather conditions, may require occasional weekend work.
