Assistant Site Manager

Location: East Midlands, Derbyshire, Mickleover

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Primary Industry: Construction

Salary: £40000 - £50000 Per annum

Qualifications: SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, Driving Licence, Scaffold Inspection, NVQ Level 4

Company Branding: A Quality focused Developer are looking for an Assistant Site Manager for a brand new site in Derbyshire. You will be working with an Award-Winning team on a traditional new build housing project. Looking for an individual who is quality focused and passionate about delivering excellent customer care.

Job Duties:

  • Assist the Site Manager in overseeing all aspects of the construction site
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Manage subcontractors and ensure quality workmanship
  • Assist in the coordination of site logistics and resources
  • Monitor and report on project progress
  • Provide excellent customer service and address any site-related issues
  • Contribute to the successful delivery of the project within budget and schedule

Required Qualifications:

  • SMSTS certification
  • CSCS card
  • First Aid certification
  • Valid Driving Licence
  • Scaffold Inspection certification
  • NVQ Level 4 in Construction Management or related field

Experience:

  • Prior experience in new build housing projects
  • Demonstrated experience in site management

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of traditional new build housing techniques

Working Conditions:

  • On-site construction environment
  • Full-Time hours Monday to Friday
