Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are working in partnership with an Alfreton based concrete casting company, assisting their search for a Concrete Finisher to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis. 

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a concrete based environment, finishing products.

The Job: 

• Checking concrete forms (moulds)
• Mixing concrete to the correct specifications
• Setting and aligning the forms
• Spreading, levelling and smoothing concrete using a variety of specialist equipment
• Monitoring the effects of weather on concrete
• Facilitating concrete pouring.

About You: 

• Experience working in a concrete casting (wet or dry) environment.
• Comfortable with manual labouring.
• Looking for a long term opportunity.
• Knowledge of hand-held and power tools including power vibrators, polishers, cutting saws, and edging tools.
• Hands on approach and an eye for detail.

The Pay:

£11.75ph - £13.50, depending on experience.

The Hours: 

Monday - Friday, between the hours of 7:00am - 5:00pm, shift can be discussed on interview.
