Key Responsibilities:

Ensure all working areas are safe and secure at all times, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Assist in ensuring all works are completed to specification and within the project’s requirements.
Hold regular weekly toolbox talks, keeping the team informed and focused on key safety and performance issues.
Ensure the availability and security of materials on-site, maintaining stock levels and reducing waste.
Stay up to date with any changes to drawings and specifications, ensuring all team members are aware of updates.
Maintain accurate records of labour levels and produce weekly timesheets for reporting purposes.
Monitor and document any time-related variations, ensuring they are signed off by the main contractor.
Effectively manage and direct labourers on-site, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.

Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in Ganger roles within the construction industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
Excellent communication skills for managing site operations and liaising with contractors.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in maintaining records and managing materials.
References required to demonstrate prior experience in Ganger positions.
