Thorn Baker Construction are looking for Labourers to work on a long-term ongoing project in Lancaster.

Starting 23/09/2024.

Hours:

8-10hrs per day 5 days a week.

You will be required to do all the hours required, please ensure you are able to commit full-time

You must hold a valid CSCS Card to be considered for this position.

Please note that we are NOT able to pay CIS to labourers as you will be under supervision and guidance.

About You:

• Candidates must have a valid CSCS card
• Two commercial relevant References - Site managers/Supervisor name and number
• Full PPE (Hard hat, Hi-vis & Safety boots)
• Can do attitude with a strong work ethic

Job Duties:

• Assisting trades on site
• Lifting and Shifting Materials around site
• Ensuring site is safe to work and clearing walkways
• General cleaning
• Following health and safety guidelines
• Working collaboratively with the team

Working Conditions:

• Work is primarily outdoors in various weather conditions
• May require heavy lifting and physical exertion
• Adherence to health and safety regulations is essential

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of basic construction practises
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Physical fitness and stamina
• Good communication skills
