Your Responsibilities:

• Management of the design phase for Design and Build contacts
• Work collaboratively with framework Design Teams during Early Contractor Involvement (ECI)
• Technical support during Construction Phase
• Management of QA and Handover phase ensuring timely collation and delivery of takeover information post construction
• Attend and minute design reviews, early meetings with Operations, Project Team Meetings etc
• Impartial Challenge of Design
• Act as point of contact between Site Managers and Designers for the quick resolution of site queries and design changes
• Technical advice/support for Construction team
• Develop and maintain Inspection and Test Procedures (ITP) and Quality Assurance (QA) procedures
• Advice and consider extent of requirements for Site Investigation/trial holing etc
• Manage and programme site investigation works to ensure continuity and timely provision of information to avoid design delay/revisit.
• Collate site investigation into standard format and distribute. 
• Attend Landowner & Highway meetings
• Assist designers/environmental manager in preparing & submitting initial long lead in applications (HAUC, LDB, EA etc)

Required Skills:

• SMSTS & CSCS Card are essential
• Ensure timely delivery of takeover information (marked up drawings, manhole schedules, photos etc) to designers post construction
• Ensure timely receipt of Construction Packs (drawings, reports, notices etc) from designers. Review and comment on information received.
• Experience in a similar position
