Position: Estimator

Location: England, with monthly visits to London

We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our client's construction team. As the Estimator, you will be responsible for analysing project specifications and requirements to determine accurate cost estimates. Your role is critical in ensuring cost control and project profitability.

The Estimator plays a vital role in project planning and execution. You will provide accurate cost estimates and collaborate with various departments to ensure successful project delivery.

This is a fully remote role with monthly visits to central London. Please do not apply if you are unable to fulfil this requirement.

Your responsibilities:

• Source and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations
• Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities from drawings, specifications, and schedules of finishes
• Prepare analytical estimates using subcontract quotations as a check
• Calculate site management and preliminary costs
• Participate in final negotiations

Skills:

• Experience in the fit-out or interiors industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Experience with Conquest or similar estimating software is preferred.
