Job Title: Freelance Quantity Surveyor
Location:Wolverhampton

Thorn Baker's 5-star house builder is looking for a Freelance Quantity Surveyor to support with maternity cover. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work for the UK's leading provider of affordable mixed tenure homes, a company which values integrity, caring, and quality in every area.

What's in it for you:

• £300 - £350 per day
• Immediate start
• Duration 3 to 5 months
• 5 days a week with 1 dayflexible working from home

Your Responsibilities:

• Collating and issuing tender packs for sub-contractor work packages.
• Negotiation and analysis of sub-contractor tender returns.
• Producing tender analysis for subcontract work packages.
• Completion of Subcontract orders and variations.
• Subcontract payments, variations, and final accounts.
• Completing Monthly CVRs and cost reporting.
• Cost reporting and budget control.
• Attending site project meetings.
• Responsible for project lead with HA, including prepare and issue monthly HA valuations, cash flow forecasts, key date trackers.

Required Skills:

• Minimum HNC in Surveying or Construction or equivalent.
• Experience of working within the Construction industry for a residential housingdeveloper.
• Excellent IT, analytical and communication skills.
• COINs user experience.
• Driving licence
