Health and Safety Advisor
Job description

We are currently seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to provide ongoing support on high-end internals projects in central London. In this role, you will be responsible for producing risk assessments and method statements, collaborating closely with site management teams, technicians, and client safety teams. You will also champion HSEQ initiatives and monitor site safety performance. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to plan and anticipate potential issues, and a strong client focus with commercial acumen. They should also be results-driven and able to meet deadlines.

Role Responsibilities
- Liaise with the client's H&S function and other members of the client team
- Attend client H&S meetings
- Provide H&S support to the site team
- Review safe systems of work
- Attend and advise during safe start meetings
- Manage day-to-day H&S activities on site
- Conduct workplace inspections and report findings
- Investigate accidents and incidents
- Manage on-site occupational health
Role Requirements
- Excellent communication skills, with experience in client-facing roles
- Technical understanding and experience providing H&S support in construction and building services
- Proficient in IT with strong report writing skills
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience in on-site H&S within fit-out or high-end sectors
- Site safety experience of Temp Works & Scaffolding
