Job description

Main Tasks and Responsibilities: 

  • Constructing frameworks for Bathroom pods and Modular pods
  • Working within Bathroom pods and Modular pods, to complete all stages of first and second fix joiner
  • Using power and hand tools g. Combi drill, Impact drill, Multi-Tool, Collator, Digital Tape Measure, Routers, Circular Saw and Jig Saw
  • Working within a joiner machine shop, using bench saws, crosscuts and chop saws (training will be provided)
  • Report all quality/design problems to the Production Supervisor
  • Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with the requirements of Health and Safety and other relevant legislation in addition to Elements Europe Risk Assessment and Procedures
  • Ensure that all works are manufactured in accordance with Elements Europe drawings and specifications
  • Ensure housekeeping standards are kept at the level required
  • Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with Elements Europe quality systems and checks

Experience and Knowledge Required:

  • Experience as a skilled joiner
  • Comfortable using steps and A-frame ladders to work at height
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong team player
  • Ability to take direction and to ask questions if unsure
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Joinery / Carpentry Certificate (NVQ Level 2 or Equivalent) is preferred, but not essential
  • Working at Height training certificate
  • An in-depth understanding of technical drawings
  • Experience carrying out these or similar tasks
