Thorn Baker Recruitment are currently seeking experienced platers for their client based in Staveley, Chesterfield.

Plater Job Role:-

• Welding and fabricating to high standard
• MIG welding tailored products for the structural industry
• Reading from engineering drawings
• Fabricating bespoke products from scratch

Plater Job requirements:

• Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Time served plater
• Must be able to work on one of pieces and small batch pieces
• Must have a proven track record of MIG welding and fabricating
• Ability to work on all types of metals
• Must have structural steel experience
• Good attention to detail
• Be punctual and a good time keeper

Hours of work:

Monday to Thursday – 6:00am – 16:30pm, Fridays off

Pay Rate:

£16ph, whilst on probation, with it increasing up to £18ph dependent on skills.

This is a temporary to permanent position, with a view for this role to be permanent after 12 successful weeks with ourselves.
