Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are looking for a Press Brake Operator to join our world leading client.

Main Duties

• Use press brakes, and other equipment like deburring tools and pneumatic presses to bend, punch, and cut materials like steel and aluminium.
• Interpret mechanical engineering drawings to ensure tasks are carried out correctly.
• Check your work using tools to make sure components meet quality standards.
• Stick to job cards, work instructions, and safety procedures to ensure top-quality production and compliance with industry standards
• Look after and program press brake machines as needed
• Carry out additional tasks like cutting, sizing, polishing, and packing

What We’re Looking For

• Experience using press brake machines or similar equipment
• Ability to read engineering drawings and follow instructions carefully
• Knowledge of measurement tools
• Understanding of health and safety rules in manufacturing
• Attention to detail and a willingness to learn and improve
