Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are looking for a Production Operative to work for a busy manufacturing company based in Chesterfield.  This is a temporary to permanent position.

You will be working in a dusty production environment - PPE will be provided. 

About the role:

• £11.44 per hour with a shift allowance for night shifts.
• 3 shifts rotating – 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm-6am.
• Overtime available on Saturdays and Sundays at time and a half and double time.
• Temporary to permanent position following successful probation period.

The duties will include: 

• Some manual handling required, lifting up to 15kg’s.
• Basic machine operation, loading feeder, basic computer input.
• Some aspects of the role can be repetitive.
• Adhering to health and safety procedures

About you: 

• Experience in similar role advantageous, not essential.
• Good attention to detail.
• Full face mask will be required to be worn while working on shop floor.
• Comfortable with heavy lifting and repetitive work
