Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are looking for a Production Operative to work for a busy manufacturing company based in Chesterfield.  This is a temporary to permanent position.

You will be working in a dusty production environment - PPE will be provided. 

About the role:

• £11.44 per hour, increasing in April 2025
• 3 shifts rotating – 2 months of night shifts (10pm-6am) followed by 4 months of rotational shifts (6am-2pm/2pm-10pm)
• Overtime available on Saturdays and Sundays at time and a half and double time
• Temporary to permanent position following successful probation period

The duties will include: 

• Some manual handling required, lifting up to 15kg’s
• Basic machine operation, loading feeder, basic computer input
• Some aspects of the role can be repetitive
• Adhering to health and safety procedures

About you: 

• Experience in similar role advantageous, not essential
• Good attention to detail
• Full face mask will be required to be worn while working on shop floor
• Comfortable with heavy lifting and repetitive work
