Thorn Baker Industrial recruitment are recruiting concrete production operatives to work for a busy production plant in Alfreton. This well known, national company have immediate temporary to permanent vacancies on a fixed day shift.

The Job:

Full training will be provided & you will be responsible for: 

• Safely operating machinery
• Assisting with the mixing and pouring of concrete into moulds
• Stripping finished concrete products out of their moulds / casts 
• Checking the finished product to ensure it meets specifications 
• Ensuring all health and safety site requirements are met 

About You: 

• Previous concrete experience is highly advantageous
• Machine operative experience preferred
• Experience using a variety of hand tools
• Comfortable with physically demanding work 
• Looking for a long-term, ongoing work
• Overhead crane & FLT license are beneficial 

The Hours: 

48 hour working week 

Monday & Tuesday - 6:00am - 4.30pm

Wednesday & Thursday – 6:00am – 4:00pm

Friday 6:00am– 3:30pm

The Pay: 

£12.34 per hour + overtime from £16.92
