Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Location: South West England, Gloucestershire, Tetbury

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Monday to Friday

Flexible working from home up to 2 days per week after probation.

Primary Industry: Construction, New Build Housing, House Building.

Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum

Company Branding: A Cash Rich, 5-star builder is seeking a Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in the Gloucestershire area. Offering up to £65,000 plus a competitive package. Open to both Quantity Surveyors and Senior Quantity Surveyors, with fast-track progression opportunities.

Job Duties:

• Undertake cost analysis for construction projects
• Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
• Evaluate tenders from contractors and subcontractors
• Manage project costs within budget
• Conduct valuations and prepare payments for contractors
• Assess and minimise risks
• Report on the financial status of projects

Required Qualifications:

• Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification
• Full UK Driving Licence

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of experience in a Quantity Surveyor role for a Housing Developer

Proficient with IT and COINS

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong understanding of construction contracts
• Excellent numerical and financial management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• COINS and IT 
• Driving License 

Working Conditions:

• Office-based with site visits as required
• Travel within the South West region may be necessary
