Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Location: West Midlands, West Midlands, Wolverhampton

Job Type: Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hours Monday to Friday

Primary Industry: Construction, New Build Housing, House Building

Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependant on experience)

Are you an Assistant QS looking to progress? Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for a new challenge?

A leading Housing Developer is expanding their commercial team due to a number of new exciting developments kicking off in the West Midlands.

Job Duties:

• Prepare cost analysis based on the architectural drawings, engineering estimates, materials required, and labour involved.
• Negotiate and prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other related documents.
• Undertake cost control, monitoring, and reporting throughout all stages of the construction project.
• Attend meetings and liaise with contractors, subcontractors, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Provide advice on contractual claims and variations.

Required Qualifications:

• Driving Licence
• Quantity Surveying related qualification

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Assistant QS / QS
• Knowledge of New Build Housing projects
• Proficiency in using COINS software
• Strong IT skills

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position based in West Midlands, with occasional travel to sites across the West Midlands
• Office and on-site work required
