A prestigious housing developer is currently seeking a Senior Site Manager for a traditional new build project in Bristol. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction site, ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Job Duties:

• Manage and coordinate all on-site activities, including subcontractors and suppliers
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Monitor progress and quality of work to meet project deadlines
• Manage and control project budgets
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
• Provide regular progress reports to senior management

Required Qualifications:

• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
• CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
• First Aid certification
• NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management
• Full UK Driving Licence

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years experience in a site management role within the construction industry.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent project management abilities
• Thorough knowledge of construction processes and regulations
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
