Job Title: Site Manager

Location: West Midlands, Coventry

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Monday to Friday

Primary Industry: Construction, New Build Housing, House Building

Salary: £60,000 - £68,000 Per annum

Benefits: Car allowance or company car, bonus scheme, private pension, healthcare

Qualifications: SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, Driving Licence

An established Housing Developer is seeking a permanent Site Manager for a project in Coventry. The project involves new build houses for open market sale and housing association. There is potential for progression to Project Manager as a new site is set to commence.

Job Duties:

  • Oversee the construction site from start to finish
  • Manage subcontractors and coordinate construction activities
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations
  • Monitor project progress and quality of work
  • Report to the Project Manager

Required Qualifications:

  • SMSTS certification
  • CSCS card
  • Valid First Aid certification
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years' experience in site management within the construction industry

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of new build housing processes and NHBC
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
  • Proficient in project planning and problem-solving
