A cash rich, 5 star Housing Developer have a new exciting development starting up in Coventry and are looking for a Site Manager to oversee a phase of the project.
Job Duties:
- Manage and oversee all on-site construction activities
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and construction workers
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Prepare and maintain project schedules, budgets, and progress reports
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise on the construction site
- Inspect and ensure quality control of work being performed
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
- SMSTS certification
- CSCS card
- First Aid certification
- NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management
- Valid Driving Licence
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role within the construction industry
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of house building processes
- Excellent project management skills
- Effective communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and quality control
Preferred Qualifications:
- Further certifications in construction management
- Health and Safety qualifications
- Experience with large-scale construction projects
Working Conditions:
This role involves working on construction sites which may expose you to various weather conditions and physical demands. Travel between different sites may be required.
