A cash rich, 5 star Housing Developer have a new exciting development starting up in Coventry and are looking for a Site Manager to oversee a phase of the project.

Job Duties:

  • Manage and oversee all on-site construction activities
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and construction workers
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Prepare and maintain project schedules, budgets, and progress reports
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise on the construction site
  • Inspect and ensure quality control of work being performed
  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

  • SMSTS certification
  • CSCS card
  • First Aid certification
  • NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management
  • Valid Driving Licence

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role within the construction industry

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of house building processes
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and quality control

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Further certifications in construction management
  • Health and Safety qualifications
  • Experience with large-scale construction projects

Working Conditions:

This role involves working on construction sites which may expose you to various weather conditions and physical demands. Travel between different sites may be required.
