Job description

Thorn Baker is currently working with an award winning regional commercial contractor covering a variety of new build and Refurb projects across the South West. With a growing portfolio and 2025 looking like their busiest year yet they are looking for Site Managers to support them and help to grow their Swindon Team.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage overall project delivery from inception to completion.
  • Manage and liaise with both internal staff and external sub-contractors to ensure a smooth process.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing for all staff and visitors.
  • Complete site Inductions
  • Identify concerns with processes, methods, or data and contribute to the development of company-wide solutions, bearing the customer needs in mind.
  • Proactively check all facilities during works for damage and report to management.

Required Skills:

  • SMSTS, CSCS Card, First Aid at Work
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position
  • Relevant Qualification in construction not essential
  • Experience working for a tier 1 or 2 contractor
