Job Title:Site Manager

Location: Accrington

Pay: £260-£300pd

Thorn Baker has teamed up with a growing main contractor who possess vast expertise in all facets of main build, including but not limited to Commercial, Healthcare, Industrial & Retail. Their commitment to consistently delivering innovative, sustainable, and exceptional quality projects that consistently exceed expectations has solidified them as a trusted and reputable partner in the construction field. With a number of tenders in the pipeline, and a live commercial build project in Accrington, they are looking for an experienced Site Manager to step up and manage the construction side, under the Commercial Manager.

What's in it for you:

• £260-£300 per day
• Manage your own diary around outside commitments
• Car allowance + Fuel expense
• Expectation for the role to grow into a Contracts Manager/Projects Manager with oversight of 3-4 projects

Your Responsibilities:

• Put together and manage all programmes
• Assist with putting together project meeting minutes and sit in on client meetings once a month.
• Manage day to day site H&S, including making sure everyone signs in and out, all inductions are carried out, daily and weekly inspections (such as scaffolding, plant, perimeter fencing etc.). Overseeing this is being done when in the CM/PM role.

Required Skills:

• Site Management experience for a main contractor
• Competent with putting together programmes and ability to manage said programme throughout the life cycle of the project.
• SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid
