Job Title: Site Manager

Location: West Midlands, Warwickshire, Rugby

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Monday to Friday

Primary Industry: Construction, New Build Housing, House Building

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 Per Annum

A National housing developer is embarking on an exciting new project in Rugby and is seeking a dedicated Site Manager to oversee the construction of a new housing development, supported by an Assistant Site Manager.

Job Duties:

  • Manage and coordinate all on-site activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets
  • Supervise and direct subcontractors and construction workers
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Monitor and maintain quality control standards
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to address any issues or concerns
  • Prepare and submit regular progress reports
  • Manage site logistics, including materials and equipment

Required Qualifications:

  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification
  • CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card
  • Valid First Aid certification
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:

  • Proven experience in PLC housing and site management
  • Experience in overseeing new build housing projects
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree or equivalent in Construction Management or related field
  • Additional health and safety certifications
  • Experience working with national housing developers

Working Conditions:

The Site Manager will be based on-site in Rugby, overseeing the construction project. The role may require occasional travel to other project locations.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, along with a car allowance or company car, bonus scheme, private pension, and healthcare benefits.
