Job Title: Site Manager
Location: West Midlands, Warwickshire, Rugby
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Monday to Friday
Primary Industry: Construction, New Build Housing, House Building
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 Per Annum
A National housing developer is embarking on an exciting new project in Rugby and is seeking a dedicated Site Manager to oversee the construction of a new housing development, supported by an Assistant Site Manager.
Job Duties:
- Manage and coordinate all on-site activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets
- Supervise and direct subcontractors and construction workers
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to address any issues or concerns
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports
- Manage site logistics, including materials and equipment
Required Qualifications:
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification
- CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card
- Valid First Aid certification
- Full UK Driving Licence
Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
- Proven experience in PLC housing and site management
- Experience in overseeing new build housing projects
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant degree or equivalent in Construction Management or related field
- Additional health and safety certifications
- Experience working with national housing developers
Working Conditions:
The Site Manager will be based on-site in Rugby, overseeing the construction project. The role may require occasional travel to other project locations.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, along with a car allowance or company car, bonus scheme, private pension, and healthcare benefits.
